■About This Items■ It is modified to reduce noise. We plugged in the guitar and got sound. Tested.It works fine with 9V power adapter or 9V battery. It made in Taiwan 2008 and Modified in Japan 2024. Modified part_1:【IC1】【IC2】【IC3】Changed operational amplifier from JRC022D to NE5532AP. Modified part_2:【C21(1μF)】【C22(1μF)】【C32(1μF)】【C12(47μF)】【C17(100μF)】The capacitors were changed to audio grade electrolytic capacitors or tantalum capacitor. Modified part_3:【R34(10K)】【R7(3.3K)】【R41(4.7K)】【R26(1K)】【R36(10K)】These resistors were changed from carbon resistors to metal film resistors. Modified part_4:LED color changed from red to iceblue. Please note that the modified GE-7 with reduced noise does not have the noise reduction features of the BOSS NS-2. The R41 R26 locations are soldered with lead wires extended.
