We plugged in the guitar and got sound.
Tested.It works fine with 9V power adapter or 9V battery.
It made in Taiwan 1999 and Modified in Japan 2024.
Modified part_1:【IC1】【IC2】【IC3】Changed operational amplifier from JRC022D to NE5532AP.
Modified part_2:【C21(1μF)】【C22(1μF)】【C32(1μF)】【C12(47μF)】【C17(100μF)】The capacitors were changed to audio grade electrolytic capacitors or tantalum capacitor.
Modified part_3:【R34(10K)】【R7(3.3K)】【R41(4.7K)】【R26(1K)】【R36(10K)】These resistors were changed from carbon resistors to metal film resistors.
Modified part_4:LED color changed from red to iceblue.
The rubber ring of the pedal guide bushing was replaced with a new one.
Please note that the modified GE-7 with reduced noise does not have the noise reduction features of the BOSS NS-2.
